Why Buying in 'Off Season' Can Help Central FL Buyers, but Sellers Market Consistently Strong

Mary Shanklin of the Orlando Sentinel reports on the higher prices and home inventory of the Central FL area:
HERE*  is the Link.

Lots of buyers, not too many sellers is the general rule these days, even as families use this time on the calendar (the end of the school year) to shift homes.

More inventory usually means more 'competition' for buyers, but overall this cycle is so low on properties and so high on buyer numbers, the sellers still have the edge.

If a home is NOT selling, list price is the culprit - Usually.

Have questions about the value of your home? If you are interested in listing, I will be happy to provide a best price report for you-

Luxury Home Buyers Lose Anonymity: Could the "Test Program" Come to Central Florida?

As a Realtor®, or as any person viewing public records may notice, many highly-priced properties show the homeowner of record as a  corporate or legal entity.

This article from Florida Realtors newsletter notes the concern for balancing privacy issues of legitimate home owners with a need for clear identification of purchasers in order to avoid "laundering" of questionable funds. A "pilot program" requiring further disclosure of luxury home purchasers in New York and Miami is underway:
